My favorite nude lipsticks

Hi ladies!  I don’t know why but I’ve been into the nude lip lately, maybe beacause I’ve been playing with a darker eye.  So I dug up my go-to, favorite nude lipsticks.

Makeup Empties

Hi loves!  Nothing too exciting here, unfortunately.  However, we all know there usually much empties in the makeup category since, afterall, it’s just me using this stuff.  (I’m no makeup artist.)

As you can see, I’ve enjoyed the Maybeline the Falsies Volum’ Express Waterproof.  I’ve tried a couple colors and they all seem to be equally good.  I am getting a bit bored of it so I’m working on finishing my fourth tube and back to experimenting.  Possibly Clinique, Origins or my old HG, Trish McEvoy.

Next up, brows.  I really enjoyed the Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Ash.  This mechanical pencil lends for easy application and a perfect brow look.  The formula is awesome, great color and long wearing.  However, considering price it just didn’t last as long as I would have hoped.  I’m curently using MAC brow in lingering which I like better.

As far as the Revlon Brow Fantasy…I didn’t like and was glad when I couldn’t sharpen it anymore.  I honestly didn’t like anything about it.

Lastly, MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC25.  I’m on my second bottle and don’t really have any complaints.  It’s my go-to foundation.  However, I habe my eye on a couple of others I want to try, after all, I am a beauty blogger 🙂

That’s it for my empties.

Diana

August 2013 beauty favorites

This month was a great beauty month 🙂

I have been loving the Caress Passionate Spell body wash, thanks to Tati from GlamLifeGuru for recommending.  It wasn’t easy to find, but eventually I managed to pick it up at Walmart.  It’s not a scent I would normally pick up but it’s a perfect blend of warmth, floral and sexy.  Love, love, love!  Just wish it lingered a bit more….

I’ve also been into a more neutral and quick face lately.  Why did I wait so long to pick up Maybelline Color Tattoo?!?!  Loving Bad to the Bronze for an easy smoke effect or Inked in Pink for a bright-eyed feminine look.

Have I finally found a concealer I like applying and wearing?  Yes!  The winner is Maybeline Dream Lumi Touch in Nude.  Ladies it does not crease!!!!

After hearing Ruth from AModelReccomends and Essie from Essiebutton raving about the smoothness of The Body Shop’s honey bronzing powder I had to check it out.  Shade 2 is a great all over warmth for me right now.  It will be a beautiful natural contour for winter.

To apply bronzer and blush for.that matter, I have been LOVING my very old Bobbi Brown Face Blender brush (mini).

Lastly, it’s been a nude and coral lip kind of month (except for occassional red of course.)  Some may consider them boring but these two Revlon lippies are in my top 10.  Super Lustrous creme in Coralberry 674 & pink cognito 820 (shine.)

That’s it for now, really looking forward to September 🙂

Diana
